STUDENT INFO
BURSARIES
Students will be glad to know that financial barriers do not have to stand in their way to a better life! Financial aid is available to all full time students in the form of study loans or bursaries. Student loans are available for students with financial need through the Ikapa Elihlumayo fund, which is supported by the Western Cape government. Students in the FET band (NQF levels 2 – 4) between the ages of 16 – 35 may apply for study bursary, if the household income is below R100 000 per annum.
Bursaries are made available by NSFAS according to the household income scale. Other bursaries that are available include TECSAT, which is a bursary fund solely for college students. Application forms are available at campuses during registration.
* All of the above are subject to certain conditions, which are available from the Student Support Officer on campus.
